A warm, atmospheric Danish School genre painting depicting sailors resting on the shore among nets, crates, and beached fishing boats — rendered in loose, confident Impressionist brushwork typical of the Scandinavian coastal painting tradition. The artist's signature is present but not legible, consistent with many fine unattributed works of this genre and period. A striking addition for collectors of maritime art, Scandinavian design, or anyone drawn to warm, narrative coastal scenes. Beautifully expansive dimensions, sure to add character to any atmosphere.
