Cumulus clouds fill the upper three quarters of the canvas against a deep blue sky. The largest formation rises near the center and to the right, its crown catching bright white and cream light while the underside flattens into long gray shelves that run out toward both edges. Smaller clouds stack in horizontal layers below, thinning as they near the horizon. The land holds the bottom quarter: a dark green line of trees along the horizon, then a wide band of golden wheat colored field, with taupe and violet gray strokes in the immediate foreground. The palette moves between deep blue, white, warm gray and gold.

The painting measures 36 inches high by 48 inches wide. It is framed and ready to hang, and measures 37 by 49 inches framed. The frame is shown in the photographs. Signed by the artist.

Painted in 2026 and acquired directly from the artist. Ships from Denver, Colorado. See less
