From the living estate of Arizona based brutalist sculpture artist John Gleason, capture the timeless elegance of mid-century Spanish artistry with this authentic Lladro porcelain figurine (#4510), titled "Girl with Umbrella and Geese" (Niña con Paraguas y Patos). Sculpted by the renowned artist Fulgencio García, this piece was first issued in 1969 and retired in 1994, making it a highly collectible vintage find.
The figurine depicts a serene young girl in a muted soft-blue coat and white skirt, holding a delicate parasol as she walks alongside a small flock of geese. The piece beautifully showcases Lladro’s signature pastel palette, masterful hand-painted details, and a striking contrast between the high-gloss porcelain body and the soft matte-finish umbrella.
An elegant addition to any mantel, curio cabinet, or Grandmillennial-style vignette.
