From the living estate of Arizona based brutalist sculpture artist John Gleason, bring a touch of timeless Spanish craftsmanship into your home with this beautiful vintage Nao by Lladró porcelain figurine. Titled "Time to Pray" (Model #1223 / #1228), this piece elegantly portrays a young boy standing with hands clasped in quiet prayer. Dressed in traditional Holy Communion or church attire—featuring a soft periwinkle blue double-breasted jacket, white trousers, and a small pink bow tie—he stands gracefully upon a circular base detailed with delicate pastel floral accents.
Sculptured by artist Rafael Lozano and handmade in Valencia, Spain, it features the signature soft pastel palette and luminous high-gloss glaze finish that the Lladró family of brands is world-renowned for. A meaningful heirloom piece, it makes a thoughtful gift for a First Communion, Confirmation, or a serene addition to an traditional or transitional mantle display.
