c. 1930s; Hamilton Manufacturing Co. - Two Rivers, WI
Elegant walnut medical and dental cabinet manufactured by Hamilton, featuring a two-section design with illuminated upper display storage and enclosed lower utility storage. The upper cabinet contains three glass shelves within a lighted compartment, allowing instruments, medicines, laboratory supplies, or display items to be easily viewed. The interior light is activated automatically when the upper door is opened and switches off when closed.
Below are two steel-lined drawers above a single-door storage compartment fitted with an interior shelf. Decorative Greek key molding, contrasting figured walnut veneers, streamlined hardware, and carved feet reflect the influence of late Art Deco and Neoclassical Revival design. The cabinet retains its original Hamilton Manufacturing identification plate.
