Created in the 1960s, this coffee table features a beautiful marble top with a mosaic design and a sturdy, asymmetrical chrome base. The table is in excellent vintage condition. Each piece is unique.

The stones, in shades of gray, black, and anthracite, form an organic, abstract pattern. The larger, veined stone surfaces are connected by radially arranged, narrow mosaic elements and lines interrupted by dark, pebble-like inlays. Due to the varying grain of the natural stone, the surface appears almost like an abstract work of art in its own right.

The intricately crafted tabletop is supported by a simple, chrome-plated/metal central base that culminates in a star-shaped, branching leg. The understated, modernist metal frame provides a striking contrast to the dynamic, organic stone composition.
