A botanical form appears as both presence and disappearance, its outline softened, interrupted and partially absorbed into the surface. The scratches, shifts of tone and uncertain edges are not corrected; they remain as evidence of touch, time and material encounter. Much like the artists of the postwar period, who responded to uncertainty by asserting the physical presence of the maker, Vestige considers what it means to leave a human trace. Today, as images become increasingly frictionless and machine-generated, imperfection acquires renewed meaning. The flaw becomes not a failure but a signature: proof that a body, a material and an unrepeatable moment participated in the work. The flower is therefore neither fully preserved nor entirely lost. It remains as a vestige, a fragile imprint of something that once occupied space. 40 × 32 cm, edition of 20 125 × 100 cm, edition of 10 Signed and numbered by the artist Certificate of authenticity included This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
