An iconic figure of 20th-century german design, the s22 candlestick was born from the collaboration between hans nagel and the architect-designer werner stoff. Its origins date back to the mid-1960s, when nagel, observing his fingerprints in the snow during a ski trip, conceived the shape of a three-pronged candlestick. Werner stoff then translated this intuition into an object with precise lines and an ingenious construction.
made of chrome-plated metal, the s22 is distinguished by its tripod structure, its clean geometry, and its sculptural character. Its uniqueness lies primarily in its modular principle: each element can be displayed alone or combined with others to create more ambitious, ever-evolving compositions.
presented here individually, this module has a strong decorative presence. It is also a particularly interesting piece for collectors, as its system allows for the gradual development of a composition.
