for sale is a handcrafted oak chest featuring characterful wood carvings, dating back approximately 50 years. The front is defined by a relief-style cassette layout adorned with artistic ornaments and rosettes inspired by historicist forms. Featuring a hinged lid, this piece provides generous storage space. Side metal handles facilitate handling, while the heavy body gives this piece a strong presence. A decorative and functional piece with rustic charm that blends harmoniously into both classic and modern interiors.

condition
the oak chest is in a good, well-maintained original condition with an authentic patina. The surface of the chest lid exhibits age-related color variations resulting from historical use, including as a seating option. In the base area, which is partially crafted in oak veneer, there are minor, age-appropriate veneer imperfections that blend harmoniously into the overall authentic character. The construction is sturdy, and the lid and hardware function perfectly.
