A refined and exclusive set of four Harry Bertoia-style dining chairs, crafted in Italy in the 1970s, featuring a bold chrome-plated steel grid frame and a highly crafted seat.
The shell and sled legs exploit the visual lightness of the chromed metal, recalling the geometric and spatial language typical of Italian modernism of the period.
The seat cushion, upholstered in fine hand-decorated leather from the historic D'Alessio Galliano tannery in Rome, is truly distinctive. The organic grain and cloudy finish of the leather, in warm ochre and earth tones, create a unique textural contrast with the industrial sheen of the chrome.
