a distinctive feature of this collector’s piece is the consistent interpretation of postmodern aesthetics in unmistakable memphis design style. The white dial design features a geometric composition of colorful shapes: red squares, a yellow triangle with a dotted pattern, green circular elements, as well as the fine inscription

“nice” with the open triangle and “swiss made / coll. 92” at the lower edge. Complementing the design are three hands in a light turquoise blue. The round case features a bezel covered with a genuine, patterned cork layer. This gives the watch a unique, organic contrast and emphasizes the characteristic aesthetics of the memphis era. The case features terracotta-colored lugs and a harmoniously matching crown. The case back bears the authentic markings “swiss made”, “quartz”, “waterresistant 3 atm”, as well as the design protection marking “modele depose”.

the memphis design is completed by the original strap made of genuine natural cork. An exceptional design object and a rare highlight for collectors of early-1990s design classics. See less
