Rectangular copper sheet planter supported by a thin black-painted metal frame. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
This Scandinavian-made flower holder from the 1960s is an expression of essential design in which the object's character stems primarily from the interplay between materials. The solid, textured copper sheet tub contrasts with the lightness of the thin black-painted metal frame. A balance between material and geometric rigor typical of the Nordic sensibility of the period, also applied to home furnishings. The patina acquired over time naturally complements the copper surface. Good condition. May show signs of aging. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
