Description
Original mixed-media drawing by Russian-American figurative artist Andre Kohn (b. 1972). Titled The Net Maker, executed in colored pencil, graphite, and chalk on paper, dated 2008 and inscribed “France.”
The work shows a seated figure bent over his craft, rendered in Kohn’s loose, observational hand — strong contour, quick hatching, and a spare touch of color. Signed in red at upper right; title, location, and date written along the right edge of the sheet.
Professionally framed in a dark wood frame with a wide ivory linen mat and inner fillet. Verso retains the original Shaw Gallery (Naples, FL) label and the artist’s handwritten inscription:
