Industrial workbench assembled from a vintage laminated butcher-block top and substantial cast-iron FAMCO machine base. The thick wooden work surface has been refinished to preserve its accumulated workshop character while providing a durable and usable surface. Two sculptural cast-iron standards are joined by a low tubular stretcher, creating a stable base with classic American factory styling.
A black iron pipe rail rises from cast brackets at the rear of the bench and extends across the full work area. This elevated bar provides convenient hanging storage for tools, task lighting, hooks, or other workshop accessories. Raised lettering along the base identifies FAMCO Machine Co. of Racine, Wisconsin.
