A sculptural vintage pendant attributed to Louis Kalff for Philips, combining a broad ribbed glass shade with a warm copper upper mount.
The design is restrained but highly architectural. Vertical ribbing gives the glass a strong graphic presence when unlit and softens the illumination when switched on, while the copper element adds warmth and material contrast.
Designed in the Netherlands during the later period of Philips modernist lighting, the pendant reflects the functional clarity associated with Kalff’s work for the company.

The copper top mount has been carefully polished to enhance its natural warmth and character. The electrical cable will be replaced before shipment. A modern ceiling trim plate is included for safe installation. Buyers may choose either a white or copper-finished trim plate; please indicate your preference at checkout.
