Original Italian watercolor by Beniamino Camarda, titled La Nevicata (“The Snowfall”), depicting a quiet winter landscape with bare trees, distant woodland, and a small rural building beneath a pale atmospheric sky.
Executed in a restrained palette of blue-gray, lavender, brown, and muted green, the composition is built through loose washes and economical brushwork, giving the landscape a subdued quality.
The work is signed “B. Camarda” at lower right.
The reverse retains an original handwritten artist information label identifying:
Artist: Beniamino Camarda
Title: La Nevicata
Medium: Acquerello / watercolor
Artwork size: 20 × 30 cm
Location: Fasano (Brindisi), Italy
Also attached to the reverse is a period card from Rotary Club Fasano, inscribed “con i più vivi ringraziamenti” (“with warmest thanks”) and signed by club president Dr. Stefano L’Abbate. The card provides additional local and chronological context for the work and its presentation. L’Abbate served as president of the Fasano club during the mid-1980s, supporting a circa 1985–1987 date for the documented presentation of the watercolor.
Beniamino Camarda appears to have been active in Fasano, Puglia; further biographical information about the artist has not been confirmed.
Presented under glass with a neutral textile mat in a molded gold-tone wood frame.
