The frame is a single run of … Read more Spaghetti bar stool designed by Giandomenico Belotti and produced by Alias in Italy. The frame is a single run of chromed steel tube, bent into a continuous sled base that ends in a footrest, and the seat and back are strung with fine white PVC cord in the technique that gave the model its name. The result is a stool you can practically see through: it takes up almost no visual space, which is exactly what you want around a kitchen island or a bar counter where a solid stool would immediately feel heavy. Seat height 70 cm. The Spaghetti is one of the enduring pieces of 1980s Italian design and still in production, which says something about the drawing. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
