Pair of French 1950s torch-form wall sconces in blue opaline glass and brass. Each torch has a shaft of ribbed opaline glass rods, a tapered brass tip and ball, and a waisted white glass shade above a gadrooned brass collar. A reeded brass support attaches the torch to a round wall plate. Both original glass shades are included and all shaft rods are intact. Very good vintage condition with light age mellowing to the brass. Each measures 38 cm high, 7 cm wide and projects 15 cm from the wall; backplate diameter 6 cm. B22 bayonet sockets. Tested, fully rewired before dispatch and supplied in working order for fixed wall installation.
