This iconic table lamp, the "Glas" model, is part of the renowned "Successful Living" collection from Diesel with Foscarini, launched in 2009.
The project reinterprets the archetypal industrial workshop lighting in a luxurious and contemporary style, combining Diesel's urban spirit with Foscarini's artisanal expertise.
The lamp stands out for its evocative visual metamorphosis (hence the name "Double Life"): when turned off, the blown glass diffuser features a mirror-polished chrome finish that reflects its surroundings. When turned on, the metallic surface reveals its transparency, transforming into warm opal glass that diffuses a soft, welcoming light with a vintage feel.
The mirror-chromed steel fork structure features a mechanical joint and a counterweighted stem, allowing the light beam to be freely adjusted and tilted.
The lamp is in excellent vintage condition and fully functional. It retains the original label and the "Successful Living from Diesel with Foscarini" metal charm of authenticity on the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
