He designed high-gloss chrome legs for this slab—thus, in 1968, the Primus was born, the first major success story of the Draenert company and a classic to this day. In this version, the Primus features a dark, finely textured natural stone top, its rough surface lending the tabletop an earthy, archaic character. The high-gloss chrome steel legs provide a clean, modern contrast and create a stable yet light appearance. As a coffee table, the Primus blends effortlessly into a variety of interior design styles.
