Jindra for lidokov in czechoslovakia, combining bold color with the refined industrial detailing characteristic of postwar czechoslovak lighting design. The lamp features a vibrant orange lacquered metal body and circular base complemented by polished chrome-plated supports and hardware. Its distinctive cylindrical shade with ventilated rear housing is adjustable, allowing the direction of the light to be changed while creating a strong sculptural silhouette. The contrast between the saturated orange lacquer and chrome elements gives the piece a distinctly space age and mid-century modern aesthetic, making it equally suitable as a functional desk or reading lamp and as a collectible decorative object.
