A distinctive 1970s table lamp by drukov, czechoslovakia, characterized by its sculptural geometric form and elegant combination of opaline glass, lacquered metal and polished brass. The focal point is the substantial stepped opaline glass shade, composed of softly rounded cylindrical volumes that create an architectural space age silhouette. When illuminated, the opal glass diffuses the light evenly and produces a warm atmospheric glow. The sculptural shade is supported by a slender white lacquered metal stem enriched with polished brass accents, while the flared circular base provides visual balance and stability. The restrained white and brass palette gives the lamp an elegant appearance while retaining the futuristic character associated with 1970s european design. An attractive example of czechoslovak space age and mid-century lighting, suitable as a statement table lamp, bedside light or decorative accent in both vintage and contemporary interiors. The brass components have been carefully repolished. The lamp remains in its original functional electrical condition and shows minor signs of use and age consistent with its vintage provenance.
