some models ask for a shelf. This one asks for airspace! with a wingspan of more than two metres, this is not a trinket for a windowsill — it's a sculptural showstopper, a proper piece of aviation art that happens to have landing gear. Built by hand in the 1970s–1980s, it carries all the presence of the aircraft that inspired it.

this is a large-scale model of the legendary stampe sv.4, dressed in its most joyful guise: the brilliant orange livery of the belgian flying school. Every marking is faithful to the real thing — the serial v-28 on the fuselage (the "v" for vliegschool, the belgian flying school), the roundels worn proudly on the wings, and the belgian tricolour flashed across the tail. These aren't decorative flourishes; they're the honest details that make this a genuine slice of aviation history.

a word on the sv.4, because it deserves one. Designed in belgium in the 1930s, this elegant biplane became one of europe's most beloved trainers — the aircraft that taught generations how to fly. condition: this one has flown — and we mean that literally. Built in the 1970s–1980s and genuinely airborne in its day, this vintage model carries a few honest scratches and signs of use that speak to its history. The orange has also developed a slight variation in colour on one side (see pictures). Nothing dramatic: it landed safely and remains in an honest and good vintage condition. The wings lift off for easy handling and transport.
