The … Read more A dazzling example of turn-of-the-century glass craftsmanship, this circa 1900 crystal decanter has a substantial presence and exceptional sparkle. The heavy crystal body is beautifully cut with a repeating geometric pattern across each side, creating a richly textured surface that catches and reflects the light from every angle. Crowning the decanter is an impressive faceted sphere stopper, its jewel-like cuts adding an especially elegant finishing touch. The underside is equally well considered, featuring a classic cut starburst design on the base.

The decanter measures approximately 9.75 inches high to the top of the stopper, 4 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. Weighing just over 3 pounds, the decanter has a wonderfully solid, luxurious feel in the hand and displays beautifully even when not in use. There are numerous small chips throughout from years of use and handling, nothing large or overly noticeable. Scratches to underside at base.
