This piece showcases four tall posts meticulously carved with spiral reed-and-ribbon motifs terminating in foliate urn turnings and reeded flare tops. The posts are supported by heavy lower section bases set with recessed moulded panels and detailed with original solid brass bolt covers. The serpentine crest headboard features rich mahogany figure and grain structure.

Constructed with traditional bolt-together side rails offering superior structural stability and support for standard queen bedding setup. A standout focal piece ideal for traditional, Neoclassical, or Southern high-style interior spaces.

Condition Details
Very good overall vintage condition. The original finish presents a deep, warm mahogany luster. Shows light surface wear, minor rub marks, and faint scuffs on consistent with age and light use. Structurally sound.
