19th-century French Louis XV style country armoire dating to circa 1880, beautifully crafted in hand-carved walnut with beveled mirror doors and a shelved interior.
The armoire features extensive hand-carved detailing, including floral motifs, an ornate cartouche-style detail along the cornice, and beautifully carved acanthus leaf finials at the corners. The beveled mirror doors are accented with shell motif carving along the inner edges, while the classic Louis XV style cabriole legs feature scrolled feet and additional acanthus leaf carving.
The generously sized interior includes five adjustable shelves, providing versatile storage while maintaining the elegant character of a traditional French country armoire. A striking statement piece for a bedroom, dressing area, entryway, or refined European-inspired interior.
