This exceptionally beautiful antique Malayer rug is distinguished by its finely drawn, small-scale floral design and extraordinary level of detail.
The ivory field is filled with minute stylized floral motifs that take on an almost geometric quality through their precise arrangement. A small floral medallion sits at the center, subtly anchoring the composition within the intricate allover pattern.
The restrained palette of ivory, blue, and beige gives the rug an elegant and sophisticated presence. The finely detailed design creates visual depth and movement while maintaining a quiet, refined overall effect.
This is a particularly beautiful antique for a collected interior, bringing pattern, craftsmanship, and character without overwhelming the surrounding furnishings.
