Vintage Electrix industrial task lamp featuring a substantial articulated gooseneck, vented metal lamp head, integrated carrying/adjustment handle, and weighted stepped base with a contrasting red rocker switch.
Manufactured by Electrix, 45 Spring Street, New Haven, Connecticut, as indicated by the original manufacturer’s label. The label appears to show Model N513, 120V, 60Hz, 100W.
The long flexible neck allows the lamp head to be positioned in a wide range of directions, making this an especially functional piece for a desk, drafting table, workbench, studio, or reading area. The perforated metal shade and utilitarian construction give it a wonderful vintage industrial/modernist character.
Finished in an off-white/ivory tone with a red switch. Original Electrix branding remains on both the lamp head and manufacturer’s label.
The base of the lamp measures 4.5”w x 6.75” l. The height of the lamp at its most stretched is 24”. The width of the shade is approximately 7”.
