A teak catchall as gorgeous as it is useful. Swipe through for pictures before and after restoring its finish!
It is almost hard to believe that this teak has gained so much depth since this piece was produced c. 1960s—it features elegantly rounded, carved edges and, although petite at 10cm x 19.3cm and 1.7cm tall around the edges, it has a lovely, gradually carved transition into it’s rounded and oblong basin. Clearly, this piece has been treated well, as it is in gorgeous condition after removal of its flaking, yellowing, polyurethane coat. All inconsistencies sitting atop that coat have vanished and its gorgeous glow is restored with a coat of danish oil followed by high quality Osmo finish. Perfect as a catchall for glasses, keys, jewelry, or any other little trinkets, it is finished entirely food safe, child safe, and safe for pets to be around.
