From the living estate of Arizona based brutalist sculpture artist John Gleason, presenting a striking 1920s–1930s Art Deco boudoir table lamp featuring a cast spelter metal tiered base painted in a classic period Nile green finish.
The central fixture features a textured, frosted green glass 'brain' crackle globe that diffuses a soft, warm ambiance. Flanking the glowing sphere are two intricately detailed, copper-toned figural harlequin minstrels seated along the architecture of the base—one captured mid-strum on a lute/banjo and the other compressing a concertina accordion. A quintessential representation of jazz-age decorative novelty lighting.
