Titled "Nippon Lady" (originally known in Spanish as Japonesa Serenidad), this highly collectible piece was designed by celebrated sculptor Salvador Debón, issued in 1985, and officially retired in 2000.'

The single glazed porcelain sculpture masterfully depicts a seated Japanese geisha in a moment of quiet contemplation. She wears a flowing, soft-white kimono adorned with delicate lavender floral patterns and secured by a beautifully detailed, blue patterned obi. Gracefully holding a traditional folding fan to her face, she is perched on a terracotta-toned ornate pedestal bench. The tranquil scene is completed with an intricate miniature pot of pink cherry blossoms and a tiny, delicately perched bird by her side.

Featuring Lladró’s signature soft pastel color palette and flawless high-gloss finish, this hand-painted statue is a striking statement piece for a mantle, vanity, or curated display cabinet.
