A narrow indigo field forms the visual center, densely populated with an uninterrupted sequence of stylized flowers, rosettes, angular vines, abstract palmettes, hooked leaves, and small geometric devices. Rather than relying on a single dominant medallion, the design develops rhythmically along the length of the rug, making the elongated proportions an essential part of its visual character.

The central field is surrounded by an especially attractive ivory border containing repeating star-like blossoms and sharply drawn angular botanical forms. Beyond this appears a wider border composed of alternating compartments in brick red and dark brown, each containing bold blue hooked and curvilinear motifs. The outermost guard border introduces smaller scrolling floral elements against a light ground, completing the layered framework.

Its palette combines indigo, midnight blue, turquoise, faded blue, rust red, brick red, terracotta, chocolate brown, ivory, cream, beige, and muted burgundy.
