An exceptional and unusually complete mid-1960s French outdoor dining ensemble by Triconfort, consisting of one large oval dining table and six matching adjustable reclining armchairs. Six coordinating reversible cushions are also included.

The manufacturer is positively documented by the original TRICONFORT name molded into the circular umbrella-hole insert at the center of the dining table.

Dating to approximately the mid-1960s, the ensemble reflects the innovative European approach to outdoor furniture of the period, combining sculptural molded forms with practical adjustable seating and a distinctly modern resort aesthetic.

QUANTITY INCLUDED

This is a 7-piece furniture set consisting of 1 dining table and 6 adjustable reclining armchairs. In addition, 6 removable reversible cushions are included, one for each chair. The cushions are included accessories and are not counted in the 7-piece furniture quantity.

The complete ensemble is being offered together as one set.

DINING TABLE

The substantial white molded-resin dining table measures approximately:

64"W × 39"D × 28"H

Table knee clearance is approximately 26"H.

The table features an oval/softly rounded rectangular top with slatted construction and a central umbrella opening with its original molded Triconfort insert.

SIX ADJUSTABLE RECLINING ARMCHAIRS

Each chair measures approximately:

30"W × 26"D × 38"H in the upright/seated position.

The chairs feature an adjustable reclining design and can be positioned substantially farther back for lounging.

When fully reclined, each chair measures approximately:

47"L × 30"W × 20"H.

All six chairs are included.

SIX REVERSIBLE CUSHIONS

Six coordinating removable cushions are included, providing one cushion for each chair. The cushions are reversible and feature green and white surfaces that complement the white furniture frames.

CONDITION

This is an authentic vintage outdoor set dating to approximately the mid-1960s and is being offered in as-found vintage condition with restoration recommended.

Structurally, the molded furniture remains substantial. The principal condition issue is deterioration of the existing white painted surface from age, previous outdoor use and exposure.

The white finish exhibits extensive peeling, flaking, chalking, cracking, discoloration, scratches, marks and areas of finish loss, particularly along the chair arms, curved frames and other exposed surfaces. Please review all photographs carefully, as the images form an important part of the condition description.

The set presents an excellent opportunity for professional restoration or refinishing while retaining its distinctive original mid-century French design.

For transport, the chairs can be nested together and positioned with the table, allowing the complete set to occupy an approximate 64"W × 39"D × 28"H footprint before protective packing.
