The "Le Tentazioni" two-seater sofa, model 685, designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina in 1973, is a masterpiece of Italian design that embodies the organic revolution of the 1970s: an enveloping and seductive shape, designed to challenge the rigid seating of the time with an invitation to everyday comfort. The supporting frame is made of shaped tubular metal. In good overall vintage condition, it lacks the branding, having been lost over time, but the frame is original, as shown in the photo of the base.
