Antique Kashmiri table lamp base dating to the 1910s. Its turned wooden column combines slender and rounded sections above a circular foot. Dense hand-painted floral decoration in red, orange, yellow and green covers the dark ground.
The painted surface retains vivid colour, with natural wear and patina from age and use. The brass-toned socket adds a warm accent to the decorated wooden form.
Lamp base only: the shade shown in some photographs is for styling and is not included. No bulb is included. Dimensions of the lamp base: 29 cm high and 10.5 cm across the circular foot. The lamp has been tested by the seller and is offered with an EU plug.
