The … Read more A striking model b52 desk lamp designed by erik wärnå and produced by ewå värnamo, sweden, during the 1950s. The lamp stands on a sculptural, splayed tripod base in red crinkle lacquer, its silhouette reminiscent of a bird's foot, from which a gracefully curved solid brass arm rises to support the adjustable conical shade, finished to match in the same warm textured lacquer. The shade tilts and swivels to direct light exactly where needed, making the b52 equally suited as a desk lamp, bedside light, or sculptural accent piece.
