Bronze sculpture of Capricorn, the mythological sea-goat of the zodiac, signed Faust and dated 1994. A horned, bearded goat head and raised forelegs lead into a twisting body and sweeping fish-like tail.
The bronze is worked in expressive, faceted planes, with golden highlights across a darker patina. It is mounted on a rough-hewn dark green stone base, whose natural texture contrasts with the metal. The signature and date are etched into the bronze.
Overall dimensions: 36 cm high, 37 cm wide and 16 cm deep. One sculpture with its stone base.
