An exceptional fantasy island sofa by kurt beier from the 1980s. This sculptural design combines a generously proportioned, organically curved seating area with a delicate back structure and possesses the characteristic experimental look of this era.
the softly upholstered seat is covered in dark leather and supported by curved metal legs. The wraparound backrest, made of slender metal tubing with natural-colored woven sections, is particularly striking. Small wooden accents add further visual interest.
the combination of dark leather, metal, and natural wicker gives the sofa an extraordinary, almost sculptural appearance. A rare and distinctive piece of 1980s german design.
