A stunning pair of vintage Gabbeh rugs. We would date them to around the mid-twentieth century. They were retailed in Sweden, they have a label with some Swedish writing.
The quality is superb, they have a very thick wool pile, they are very soft and luxurious to stand on. They are beautifully designed and have a gorgeous deep green colour.
The condition is excellent for their age, there is just one small area of wear around the size if a small coin, seen in the images.
