These incredibly elegant lights are attributed to Cristal Art and were produced in Italy during the 1970s. Fully original and in amazing condition, with no chips or cracks. Each sconce features three thick glass panels, hand-cut and worked with a fascinating combination of frosted surfaces and deeply carved and polished transparent sections. The irregular polished cuts beautifully catch and refract the light, creating a striking contrast with the soft matte finish of the glass. When illuminated, the alternating frosted and polished surfaces create a wonderful play of light, reflections, and shadows. The exceptional craftsmanship of the glass and the sculptural geometric design make this pair incredibly elegant and unique. A wonderful set of lights, perfect to elevate a contemporary or Mid-Century-inspired interior.
