First unveiled in the late 1970s and produced for a short period by the Danish company Hybodan, the chair gained international recognition from the 1980s onwards thanks to Magis, which marketed it under the name Nuova X-Line. It is characterised by its famous geometric ‘X’-shaped frame made from thin chrome-plated steel wire. This design ensures extreme visual lightness, flexibility and great structural strength. The chairs are made from thin steel wire rods, whilst the seat and backrest consist of a perforated metal sheet.
