The geometric design, cut from a block of glass 2 cm thick and 12 cm long, consists of four horizontal lines with the perfect diameter for a cigarette, which converge at the circular centre of this sculptural ashtray. The bevelling of the cuts on this vintage ashtray creates beautiful variations in colour as it reflects the light. Made in Italy in the 1970s, this splendid decorative object bears no label or signature to confirm its origin, but the material used and the incredible craftsmanship allow us to attribute its production to the historic Italian manufacturer ‘Fontana Arte’.
