This set is a fantastic example of Eastern European interpretation of Scandinavian design. The most distinctive feature is its sculptural solid beech wood frame, stained in a deep walnut tone. The elegantly curved, bentwood armrests are designed to appear as if floating above the frame, creating a light, airy silhouette despite the solid construction. The low, reclined profile invites pure relaxation.

The original upholstery is preserved - a textured, oatmeal bouclé fabric with characteristic dark brown button tufting. The button detail creates a beautiful quilted, capitonné effect on both the seat and backrest.

Good vintage condition. Structurally solid and stable. Wood frame with minor surface wear. Original bouclé upholstery with no tears or holes, with some discoloration and patina consistent with age. See less
