An exceptional antique 19th-century fir shop counter, remarkable for its particularly generous dimensions and the simplicity of its design.
The front is entirely composed of large molded panels, as are the two sides, giving the piece a restrained and highly architectural presence. The long, solid wood top retains a superb, time-worn surface, with numerous signs of use, variations in color, and irregularities that attest to its long history.
At the back, the open structure reveals the original joinery as well as an antique drawer with its lock and key.
