On the Design:

This vintage Moroccan Berber rug unites vibrant color contrast with expressive High Atlas geometry across a generous scale. The layout unfolds across an electric royal-blue field, centered by two stacked diamond medallions outlined in crisp white, green, and orange. Intricate cross motifs and starbursts inhabit the core of each lozenge, bringing an engaging focal energy to the expansive canvas.

In traditional Berber visual culture, these repeating lozenge structures symbolize spiritual protection and feminine fertility. Multi-colored tufted tassels in emerald green, marigold, charcoal, and orange run along the selvage edges, serving as an artful frame for the vivid field.
