Original oil painting by Florida artist Phyllis Pransky, depicting the historic Old Marco Inn on Marco Island, Florida.
The painting captures the inn surrounded by lush palms and tropical foliage, with a particularly vibrant turquoise awning drawing the eye into the composition. Pransky uses loose, expressive brushwork and a richly layered palette of turquoise, blue, green, yellow, and warm earth tones to create a lively impressionistic view of Old Marco.
Signed Phyllis Pransky lower right and housed in a substantial vintage gold-tone wood frame with a linen liner.
A wonderful Florida painting with strong color and a distinctly Southwest Florida sense of place.
