A romantic, large-scale floral painting featuring a lush bouquet of blush pink and creamy white roses against a dreamy, softly painted pale blue background.

Signed “Beverly Brooks” and dated 2003 at the lower right, the composition features visible painterly texture and soft, impressionistic brushwork. The subdued palette of powder blue, blush pink, ivory and leafy green gives the piece an ethereal, almost antique quality.

The painting is beautifully presented in a substantial ornate gold-tone frame with layered traditional molding, a linen-textured inner liner and narrow gilt fillet. At 35 inches wide by 29 inches high, it has wonderful presence and is large enough to serve as a focal point over a dresser, console, bed, mantel or sideboard.
