Striking vintage three-light chrome table lamp with a sculptural Space Age design. Three cylindrical chrome columns rise at staggered heights, each terminating in an exposed globe bulb to create a dramatic architectural composition.
The highly reflective chrome finish, geometric tubular construction and oversized spherical bulbs are characteristic of 1970s Space Age and Italian-inspired modernist lighting. The staggered arrangement gives the lamp a strong sculptural presence even when switched off, while the exposed globes provide a graphic contrast to the polished metal.
An excellent statement lamp for a console, side table or credenza and particularly well suited to Space Age, Mid-Century Modern and postmodern interiors. Designer/manufacturer unknown unless markings are present.
