patrick coussot bex, born in 1949, developed a passion for painting in his teens.
gradually, his passion and imagination led him to the decorative arts. He notably created monumental murals on entire walls of private apartments.
in the late 1970s and early 1980s, he exhibited in several european capitals, including paris and athens.
as the years passed, patrick coussot bex moved increasingly towards abstraction. Currently, he draws inspiration from waves, creating pleats on his canvases.

he likes the stark contrast between black and white but also explores color through blue, which he wants to evoke the depths of the sea.
