Original signed mixed media painting by Dominican artist Benjamín de León (b. 1960). A highly expressive figurative composition featuring densely layered faces and abstract forms with bold black linework and vivid red, orange, blue and yellow.
Born in La Romana, Dominican Republic, de León is known for his distinctive compositions of imaginary figures, faces and fantastical forms. His work has been exhibited in the Dominican Republic and internationally, including New York. Signed “BENJAMIN” lower right and presented in a slim black/espresso frame.
Painted on rigid artist board.
Art is 29 3/4" wide X 39 3/4" tall X 1/4" deep.
